Lisa, the founder and CEO of Quality Assured Grant Consulting, has immersed herself in grant writing since 2019. Her unwavering commitment and enthusiasm to assist school districts and nonprofits in navigating the intricate and often daunting grant process are the driving force behind her daily endeavors. Lisa's mission is to collaborate closely with district officials and nonprofit executives to secure funding for programs that have a meaningful impact on schools and communities. Central to her work is maximizing the grant funds that remain within the district or nonprofit to support programs and services. Lisa places great importance on offering her services at fair prices, below industry standards, while ensuring that each client receives top-notch grant application and management services.
With a career in journalism spanning more than 25 years, Lisa has served as a reporter and later as the editor of three newspapers in three different states. She has garnered numerous accolades and statewide awards for her writing, reporting, and editing skills.
Originally hailing from Wisconsin, Lisa resided in Kansas before settling in the picturesque region of South Texas in 2015. In her free time, Lisa enjoys leisurely walking with her dogs, golfing, visiting the beach, and delving into a good book. She is a former U.S. Army Reservist and is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Athletic Hall of Fame. Now, Lisa is actively involved in the Harlingen Sunburst Rotary Club.
Luise, a valuable QAGC team member, brings over 2 years of experience in grant writing and evaluation editing. Her meticulous attention to detail, educational background, community engagement, and extensive experience make her a crucial asset in achieving the goals and objectives of QAGC and the school districts/nonprofits we serve. Luise's unwavering dedication to writing excellence ensures that grant proposals meet all guidelines and requirements precisely.
With more than 40 years of experience as a licensed independent insurance agent specializing in commercial business accounts, she has honed her skills in various professional capacities. Additionally, she spent a decade working in the business office of a local radio station in Junction City.
In her leisure time, Luise enjoys walking her dogs, playing word/number games, golfing, reading, and engaging in arts and crafts. She has actively contributed to various organizations, serving as the past president of the Breakfast Optimist Club and Women’s Pilot Club and Secretary/Treasurer of the Highland Cemetery Association in Junction City. In Salina, Kansas, she was the past president of the Business Professional Women’s Club.
